UK Supermarket Deals Watch: This Week's Best Offers
Loyalty pricing is now the UK grocery game: the shelf price is the starting point, and the Clubcard or Nectar price is the real one. These are the best offers we verified live on October 19, 2026, each checked against the regular prices in our weekly tracker. Offers marked as scrape-verified come from the October 19, 2026 scrape of the retailers' own product pages; the Tesco offers with dates were confirmed on tesco.com directly. A third-party section at the end is labeled as such.
The best offers this week
Sainsbury's: Nescafé Azera Americano Instant Coffee 90g, £3.50 at Nectar Price against a £7.25 shelf price. Verdict: stock up. Better than half price on a branded coffee that keeps for months is the strongest offer we found this week.
Tesco: All Rounder Potatoes 2kg, 99p at Clubcard Price against £1.32. Verdict: stock up. That is 49.5p a kilo for a staple that keeps for weeks, the cheapest verified potato price in the UK this week.
Sainsbury's: Yorkshire Tea Bags 240 pack, £6.50 at Nectar Price against £8.50. Verdict: stock up if this is your tea. The 80 pack is £2.75 at Nectar Price against £3.75.
Tesco: Kellogg's Variety Pack Breakfast Cereal 196g, £1.75 at Clubcard Price against £3.15, confirmed on tesco.com, valid for delivery until 26 October 2026. Verdict: good, not great. The pack is small, so the per-kilo price is still premium.
Asda: Spaghetti 500g and Fusilli 500g, any 2 for £1.20 against 75p each. Verdict: stock up. 60p a pack for dried pasta is below every regular price in our tracker.
Sainsbury's: British Free Range Eggs, large 12 pack, £3.00 at Nectar Price against £3.35. Verdict: good. It makes Sainsbury's the cheapest verified dozen large free range eggs this week.
Sainsbury's: Onions 1kg, £0.80 at Nectar Price against £0.95. Verdict: good. A small saving, but onions keep, and 80p matches Aldi's wonky bag price without the wonk.
Good offers with conditions
Tesco: Kerrygold Pure Irish Salted Butter 200g, £1.90 at Clubcard Price against £2.65. The condition: per kilo it is £9.50, still well above the £7.40/kg own-label block butter at every big supermarket. Buy it because you prefer it, not because it is the cheap option.
Sainsbury's: British Chicken Breast Fillets 640g, buy 2 for £8 with Nectar against £4.62 each. The condition: you need to use 1.28kg of chicken. At £6.25/kg effective it beats the £6.90/kg shelf price, if the freezer space exists.
Tesco: Cravendale Filtered Fresh Skimmed Milk 2L, any 2 for £4 at Clubcard Price. The condition: that is filtered branded milk at £1.00 a litre against 73p a litre for standard 4 pints. You are paying for the longer life, not saving on milk.
Asda: Cathedral City High Protein Half Fat Mature Cheddar 300g, Rollback to £2.00 from £3.42, and Nescafé Original Instant Coffee 300g, Rollback to £6.00 from £7.25. Both are real cuts on branded lines. The cheddar works out at £6.67/kg, competitive with own-label mature blocks.
Tesco: Pink Lady Apples 5 pack, £1.99 at Clubcard Price against £2.90, and Clarence Court Burford Brown Eggs 10 pack, £5.15 at Clubcard Price against £5.75. Both are premium products at a discount, still premium-priced after it.
Third-party reports we could not verify at the retailer
Aldi Super 6, via a third-party roundup (Skint Dad) with no offer dates stated: vine tomatoes 450g at £1.19, closed cup mushrooms 400g at 79p, pineapple at 79p each, satsumas 600g at 79p, Granny Smith apples 6 pack at 79p, asparagus tips 100g at 59p, and 3% fat beef mince 600g at £3.79 (was £4.79). We could not open Aldi's own Super 6 page to confirm this week's list or its dates, so treat these as leads to check in store, not verified prices.
A hotukdeals post from October 13 reports a sourdough loaf at Tesco at £1.90 Clubcard Price, was £2.20, running to 19 October. Also unverified at the retailer by us.
Morrisons: no specific More Card grocery prices could be verified this week. Morrisons announced a revamped More Card app with six weekly personalised offers on 16 October 2026, but published no product prices we could check.
How we check offers
Offers checked Monday, October 19, 2026, from tesco.com directly and from that morning's scrape of tesco.com, sainsburys.co.uk and asda.com product pages. Loyalty prices require the relevant free loyalty scheme (Clubcard, Nectar) and are labeled. Dataset listings do not always state offer end dates; where the retailer states dates, we print them.
Verdicts compare the offer price against the regular prices in our weekly UK tracker on a per-kilo or per-litre basis, so a big percentage off a premium product does not automatically earn a stock-up verdict.
A deal is only a deal against what you usually pay. Scan your receipts free (5 scans a month, no credit card) and Grocery Spending Tracker shows your real per-item prices, so offer maths takes seconds.
